Wow, I've missed chatting with you on the blog. Got really busy lately with my job. I was working with a small company of about 9 people but didn't know finances were struggling a bit and they almost laid us all off twice--most recently at Christmastime. So, I didn't know any of that, but my direct boss (one of the 3 partners) asked me if I was coming to volleyball one night in January. I was like, Ah, maybe. He said, No, you really need to come tonight. I'm like, Oh man, here it comes.
He basically did a Jerry McGuire and asked me to come with him. So I guess, yeah, that would make me the Renee Zellweger...shudder. Anyway, it was go with him or lose my job in a few, so my decision was easy. Actually, it's been a blessing though. We work from our homes, have no overhead, and took a third of the business/clients with us. We're sitting pretty, but the old mothership is struggling. Turns out the other two partners asked my boss to leave. Anyway, there are more details, but needless to say, I've been a bit slammed lately.
Funny, I have some crazy stories to tell you when you get out. Stuff too long to type but so thspicy and thsaucy...haha.
I'll be more diligent backreading your previous posts and comment on them all. You still got some steam left in the engine? Stay Zen brotha. Love the cartoon. Nothing's on, so let's watch that.
I'd like to get you a book I've been reading: "the mindfulness solution" by Ronald Siegel. It's very practical. Builds on Kabat-Zinn's stuff. More to come laddy-
Life is good, Mon. Life is good.
Been listening to Danish music lately. Back to my Pedersen roots. Nik & Jay is a duo that reminds me of me and you. Just their style, build, attitude, etc. Hip clip by them is: Mod Solnedgangen, Danish for Into the Sunset. There will be times again Mon. Love ya brotha-
