Before I Wake Again Once More

Before I wake again once more i wish to see the green;
Of Chrystal Lake and sleeping snake grinning while he dreams.
To be singing while I lean,
to sip the wine of the divine
from which long ago we weened.
I hope to shout aloud upon a craggy mountain tall,
and gaze into a valley too where falcons swoop and fall.
The tophat and the ball,
the man and hand which built the bridge-
I wish to see them all.
