How are you doing? Just a short letter to let you know some about me and to hopefully catch your interest so we can communicate on a deeper level.

You know the basics already. I'm a real open and active person who likes to stay busy, have fun, and keep life interesting. I stay outside a lot when I can and I like to workout and play basketball. They don't give you much to do other than that.

I'm close to a few people in here but not many 'cause there aren't too many I really trust. But I'm real loyal to my family and friends and expect them to be the same. A lot of people like to play games, but I try to steer clear of that. It's just not me. I have family I keep in touch with by writing, talking on the phone and visiting with. I try to keep busy when I'm in my room. I like to write (obviously), listen to the radio, and read all different types of books and magazines. I have got into the habit of writing poems. Some guys in here have sent them to their mom and wives who like them. So I'm okay at it.

Well, I don't want to bore you with my first words so I'll cut this short for now. But I hope to meet some new people who are willing to get to know each other more and keep things interesting. I'm cool with getting to know anyone and taking chances because life is all about chances and seeing where they lead.
