Welcome to my blog, "Con-Notations." My name is Donnie. I'm 39 years old, born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I am currently serving a 30-year federal sentence, of which I am nearing my fourteenth year of incarceration.

To be honest, this whole blogging thing is new to me. I don't really know where it will lead or what may come out of this. So I will use this opportunity to share my poetry and thoughts with you, and I'll also try to shed some light on what "life" is like here in the ADX (the federal supermax in Florence, CO).

If you would like to correspond with me, I would enjoying hearing from you. I will respond to all letters. After nearly ten years in solitary confinement, I won't pass up the blessing of free-world conversation.
