Greetings and salutations! My hope is that this epistle find you in good health, high spirits, and sound mind at the present moment. I'm truly blessed to be provided with the opportunity to write you these words, with hopes of making a connection and forming a friendship with YOU. Let me make it clear that I'm NOT looking to use or take advantage of you in any way. I'm NOT looking for money or material items, I'm just looking to built a friendship, because having a true friend is priceless, no sum can balance their worth. It's unfortunate that I have to introduce myself from behind these walls, but I promise once you take out the time to get to know me for ME, you will find a good person who just got caught up in unfortunate circumstances. Let me now give you a look into who I am, and what I'm about.
I've been incarcerated for the last 9,5 years for crimes that I am innocent of. I know everybody in prison claim to be innocent, but the sad part is that many are, and I am one of many. I've been fighting to prove my innocence, and will continue to fight until the battle is won, because freedom is a must. I'm not trying to convince you of my innocence, I just wanted to put it out there, and allow you to make your own assessment. I cannot make you believe me, but it's my hope you give me the benefit of the doubt, and get to know me for ME, and not who I was made out to be.
My name is Troy, and I'm a 28 year old Sagittarius (Dec. 15) from Brooklyn New York. I have good qualities of honesty, humbleness, kindness, loyalty, and intelligence. My likes are good music, good movies, reading, writing, working out, sports, playing spades, scrabble. My dislikes are liars, rudeness, arrogance, and people who judge others. To pass time behind these walls, I read, write, work out, and listen to my radio. "The people who turn out best, are those who make the best out of the way things turn out", and I'm defenatly one who makes the best out of bad situations and circumstances. This place is designed to break spirits, but I refuse to be broken because I'm to strong for that. I would be lying if I said these circumstances are not difficult at times, but at the end of the day only the strong survive, and I'm surviving.
I hope that these words that I dropped down on these lines, jumped off the page at you and held your interest. I hope that some sort of connection was felt, and that you felt my vibe, felt my energy. My hope is that you trust your instincts and intuition, especially if it tells you that a potential friend has entered your life. Most importantly, my hope is that you use your good judgement, by deciding to built a friendship with me, a friendship that could be long lasting and lasting long.
"Wealthy is the person whose life is enriched by friends. Generous is the one who shares his friendship with others."
Peace and many blessings!
