Hello, everyone.
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marvin D. Wilson. I am from Racine, Wisconsin, however, my temporary residence is Green Bay, Wisconsin.
I've written 4 books that I'm trying to get published. One is titled The Apocrypha of Democracy. You can find one chapter already posted and more will follow in the near future. I have another book called THE REVOLUTIONARY SCROLL. This book deals with religious issues from a perspective never seen before in print. Issues that will challenge common beliefs. I have another book BLACK DISCOLORATION BEFORE MY EYES. This book is a collection of letters, essays, poems, and quotes that I have written to people in the course of my incarceration about issues of religion, race, politics, prison, and host of other issues that affect modern society. And last, but not least, I have a self-help book called LIVE FOR SOMETHING OR DIE FOR ANYTHING, an easy yet informative book to read. It's about a journey of a young Black man who gets sent to prison and becomes "aware" while incarcerated. This book will have the reader examine views about the N-word, society, and self.
I am 33 now and have been incarcerated since I was 20. And during that time, I've grown and developed from a narrow "hood" view to a conscious, political and social world view. One of my goals is to get out and share what I have learned and be a mentor to the youth. The importance of individuals who become "aware" while incarcerated and then get released with the commitment to uplift their community is needed and monumental. It is these people who will reach the youth that couldn't be reached. This is what I am committed to do now and will continue once I'm out.
Hit me up on Facebook any time, but if you have any questions, write me by snail mail at:
