My name is John Paul Ebarb and I am the founder of Feminology. I welcome your comments, thoughts and questions. I seek to not only better and educate myself by to also give ALL women the freedom, respect and equality they rightfully deserve.
I am 40 years of age, 6'1", 160 lbs. and have completed 14½ years of a 15 year sentence for murder. During my incarceration I have earned an Assoc. Arts degree majoring in Business and Biology with Honors, Assoc. Applied Science degree for Computer Maintenance Technology with Honors and a Certificate for Micro-Computer Applications/Networking.
I am currently a Baker for the Estelle High Security Unit which houses between 600-700 inmates who are a threat to the general population of the prison system. I have received my education within the prison system and it was during this time that my eyes were opened to the true oppression, disrespect and inequality of women in ALL of society. It is here (in prison), where I see the objectifying of women and disrespect as a person which is in line with that of a third world nation. Prison is a society all its own, with its own rules and consequences. My special "Thank You" goes out to Ms. Magazine (published by the Feminist Majority Foundation), and Off Our Backs Magazine for their informative and passionate insight into the feminist struggles and victories.
I hope and pray that the building of Feminology gives to ALL women the freedom, respect and empowerment as a free-willed and thinking person. You ARE beautiful, EACH and EVERY ONE!
