53 year old Man gets 5 years in texas
Prison for selling pot!

A Texas veteran, Alvin R. Brown, 53 from Sherman, Tx. was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Delivery of Marijuana over a 1/4 oz. under 5lbs. Welcome to Texas! Any how, that was 2 1/2 years ago. I'm serving my sentence here in Amarillo, Tx. at the Neal unit. I will be 56 this month. I was granted parole my 3rd time up. I'm a 55 year old w/m, I joined the Navy in 73 when I was 17. I'm a Dad and Granddad. I like to read Western novels and daydream about having a garden and some hens when I get out, so I can have some chemical free organic vegetables and eggs. I hope to get my two grandkids to work with me on this project. Also like to fish. I will be living very close to the Red River and Lake Texoma.
