WAITING FOR GODOT

This blog is my perspective as an old man serving a life sentence in a maximum security prison, in the autumn of my so-called "golden years". My one and only criminal record is attempted murder of my ex-wife of 32 years. My circumstances are unique, as I retired from law enforcement and now bear witness to "the other side". The monster I once fed now eats me.

These dissertations are offered in the spirit of objectivity and encourage discussion, counter-opinions, and constructive arguments. The existing system is clearly broken with a government operating like a rough hew cultivator willing to go to any expense to uproot a vice, yet feels little responsibility to replenish the void with a virtue. A costly system making bad men worse and good men bad.
