Is the Time Right For Reform?

As I watch the news I am saddened yet hopeful at the same time. I am saddened when I see the horrific abuse that has been caught on camera concerning police brutality and corruption yet I am hopeful this will lead to a change. You may wonder what police corruption toward the black community has to do with a white man in prison well.. I will tell you. Many post black I mentioned that no one will believe me concerning my claims of corruption because the belief is that we (inmates) are like the "Little Boy Who Cried Wolf." We cry wolf (corruption) yet none is ever "found" so we must be making false claims. However, we now have documented proof of several "wolves" attacking and killing black men on camera. Many have said one motivating factor is these corrupt cops feel invisible and untouchable because of some type of power trip combined with their racism. Now these local cops mind you. Basically the lowest step in the justice systems' hierarchy. Just imagine how the FBI, the world's most powerful police, must feel. Talk about a power trip! While not all cops are corrupt nor is the entire justice system corrupt I am hopeful that society will finally realize that when one "cries wolf" ... Sometimes there is a real "wolf" so each cry should be taken seriously. I can tell you there are wolves in my case (and many others). Is the time right for reform and accountability for the wolves?

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. Your post is very interesting as someone who is watching these wolves commit these acts so close to me, yet even outside, I also feel like the boy who cries wolf. My friends and I cry out to our legislator and government officials so much and call out to them to make change and do better, yet there is never any. Or at least, the change is not in large enough steps. Many of my friends want to see our government do better. I hope that you are doing well among all of this. I wish you well.

Chiosaeyangcki,

Sorry it took so long for me to reply but I have to get my comments printed out and mailed to me. Anyway... thank for for your comments.

Last week I received more evidence against the "wolves" in my case. I know I will prove my innocence one day.

Joseph
