• Consider using more figurative language to make story truly come alive. There is a literary technique, "show, don't tell" that is useful. Ex. "...exhausted from the task of fervently spanking his own posterior, the inmate soon fell into a deep slumber now assaulting all within earshot with his stupor-induced snoring."
