The Power of Words
As a ray of sunshine pours across my face, and basks my entire body with warmth and brightness, my thoughts become gallivant. My mind becomes a drifter, it moves about aimlessly, but does so with pleasure. In the course of this aimless drifting, I never once forget the reasons for why my thoughts are pleasant, spirits are high, and my heart is still smiling. The source of all this pleasantness, is the much much needed sunlight that has illuminated my world, and transformed these black clouds to white ones, and my dark sky to clear blue. Each one of your words that were written shines brightly, and are bright enough to bring sunshine to this dark world of mine, and warm enough to melt the frost stuck to these cold walls.
Words are very powerful. They can bring you extreme joy in a matter of seconds, and then turn around and bring you nothing but sadness in the same instant. Words are so powerful that they can turn a cold, dreary, dark world, into a sunny paradise in the blink of the eye. Your words have exposed me to a sunlight that rarely shines in my sky. A sunlight that shines so illustrious, that I become sunburned while basking in its warmth. A sunlight with a shine so luminous, that I received a sunstroke immediately. I welcome this intense sunbath, without the need of certain protections such as sunglasses, sunblock, sunscreen, or sunshade because this magnificent sunlight has transformed me. It has transformed me from a dead leaf, to a large sun flower. It has transformed me from a small guppy, to a sunfish. This glorious sunlight has transformed my dark world, into a world of radiant sunbeams. Your words temporarily erased the cold, damp, rainy, and gloomy weather and replaced it with lustrous light...... that's the power of words.
