How Is It?

How is it an elderly man that lives above me, his cell is broken into and his locker emptied of his belongings and nothing was done; when his neighbor was "snitched on" ????????

So this is prison, right?

How is it last night an elderly man was assaulted, slapped off his stool for turning a fan off. He can barely walk and has cancer. In a room full of people and no one says a word????

This is after all prison, right?

How is it a man who snitched on the first guy was and has been harassed by the staff because of his sexual orientation because he told.

This is prison, is it not?

Just because I'm in prison, doesn't mean I have to be about prison!

If your neighbor's house was being robbed, you'd call the police? Right!

You know you'd do whatever you could to stop the assault of an elderly man, who walks with a cane, and you know has cancer.

I know you would! Yet in this world, you better not or else!

When am I or we going to change? Now, while we're in prison or wait 'til we leave here to stop robbing or assaulting people. I know if I wait 'til those doors open I won't change and neither will they.

However, when them is condoned by staff and press, why change?

Oh yeah, did I mention a staff member was there to see the assault, how could I let that slip my mind. Ummm?

This sucks!
