Thank you for your transcription contribution, and your passion for literary programs. Uber valuable.

Good news, good news, good news. After all of the collective rallying, letters, and the publishing of issue #6 of the Write or Die Zine project: Poetry, Prose & CONZ, prison officials reinstated the poetry group. Yesss!

Wait, it gets better. We had no idea that an administrative supervisor named Ms. Corrado was the person doing all of the hard work to not only get the group back, but she was able to get two, yes, I said two poetry groups open. On December 16, 2015, we had our very first session. WOW! It was so good to see the new faces.

We also discovered that our original facilitator, Ms. Pam was promoted to head other programs within the mental health program, and our new facilitator, Ms. Bell, is now taking the groups to newer heights by allowing us to display our appreciation by way of a California death row first ever poetry slam. :)

Yeah, we've got our work cut out for us, and we can't wait, so everybody, standby! Thank you again for your attention. Keep the comments coming and invite others to engage us about this project.
