Dear friends,
Hello. My name is Thurl Light. I'm a 24 years old white male looking for a good, honest friend to talk to and pass the time with.
Well, first off, let me tell you a little about myself. My hometown is St. Louis, MO, but I have been in California since 2006. I moved out here with my baby's mother and I had two little girls by her; we were living the happy family life! But one day, I went to work and my friend that lived next door to me saw my ex-girlfriend trying to strangle my oldest baby girl. So I kicked her out of our lives and got full custody. Well, a few months went by, and she called me asking to get visits to see the girls. Because I'm the one who forgives (because that's what the Bible teaches us), I let her come over to see the kids.
Well, later that night, I slept with her. In the morning, she went to the police and cried out rape. So basically, she set me up and now I'm in prison for 10 years. The reason she did it was she thought she could get custody of the girls since I would be in prison. But it did not work. My brother is taking care of them till I get out. So, yes, I got the bad end of the stick. But she lost too, and I still have my babies.
Now, the reason I am telling you people this is because I have nothing to hide. Because I know I did not do this and so does my family. Plus, I'm very honest and I don't feel I need to lie to make friends. I expect people that do respond to me to be 100% honest with me as well.
Anyways, to get back to my introduction, things I enjoy doing: spending time with my girls and family, listening to music, reading the Bible, and writing meaningful letters.
I am basically looking for a friend or friends that I can share my thoughts and dreams with, and to help pass the time. Because it does get lonely in a cell, and the only good thing we have to look to is our mail!

I just liked to say you hello from Belgium. I read your letter. I can relate very well to young people. Just like you I have two girls, but they are 35 and 36 yrs old.I feel young in spirit even though I am 67 yrs old. :)
I liked what you wrote and also I think you have a nice writing as well.
My family lived 7 yrs in the States: 3 in Utah and 4 in Ohio.Now my youngest daughter, born in Utah, decided to stay with her Belgian husband and the two grandkids in CA, San Diego. Well, I can tell you more things later of myself, etc
You had bad luck, but I hope things turn out for the good.
Maybe you can an swer? Then you might tell me how you spend your time in prison, ok?

I just got the message I will become the godmother of my daughters (the one that lives in BE; Elke) next child. They have already Lynn; she will be 2 yrs at the end of January.
Also the other grandma will be a godmother of thier child. So, 2 godmothers this time! ;)

Yesterday I went to celebrate New Year at my mother's aparment, in our capital, Brussels.
My oldest brother Paul wasn't there as he and his whole family lives in Auwtralia.
We were there with my younger brother Johan, a dr, and my sis Joke (=Yoke).
Mom became lately 90, but she still is an ernergetic person.
Tell me about your family, thurl?
Well, once we can talk, all will be going easier, I guess.
