Dear Lupessecretary,
I have not hunted four leaf clovers in almost two
years. I harvested 300 to 400 every summer for about
20 years. I stopped because I finally realized I was
inadvertently promoting sorcery.
Four leaf clovers do not appear in dry weather in
a form that you can recognize them. Ideally you must
look in grey overcast weather with intermittent rain.
That way they'll be extended instead of the fourth
leaf tucked in back of one of the other leaves.
I became obsessed with finding them and it really
is a form of sorcery.
I would take them all out of my pocked and put them
in a bowl of cold water to revive them. Then I would
press them In a book. The next day I would adjust
the leaves to make them symmetrical and allow them to
cure in the book for three more days.
Its really not a good pastime.
