Excuse the delay, but I've been transferred again and I didn't have any of my property, address, etc. And I've had my hands full with a lot of other stuff and haven't been able to keep up to date with my blog.
My story is a long one, and one that I have fought in the state and federal courts for the past 30+ years.
The important part of my story deals with the total disregard that President Clinton had with the law and the great writ. When he signed legislation to change the habeas corpus procedures and constitutional law.
There are thousands of prisoners in prisons across the country for crimes they did not commit. Or whose convictions are tainted with prosecutorial misconduct, use of false testimony, and withholding crucial evidence.
As I've studied the law, I learned that it takes inmates far longer to realize that they were sold out.
When the writ was gutted in 1996, it made it even harder for an inmate to seek relief. Unless he has the financial means to retain good legal help.
I wrote that post after reading an article of an unjust conviction. When I get my property, I will post where you could read about my case.
