My great-grandma always told me many things. But this one thing stuck with me. My grandma said, "When you die and leave this world, how would you want to be remembered as and for? Leave a legacy on earth that your children, the next generation and the generation after that, can follow."

My great-grandma Ada was a loving Christian woman. She was a giver—helped anyone and brought unity with everyone in the family, church, and community. She is my icon who I follow behind daily.
