COV-19

People why are we taking this COV-19 not seriously by not wearing your face mask, staying at least 6 feet away from others, avoid contact with people who are sick, washing your hands often, with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds each time, use hand sanitiser if soap and water are not available.

Why is it so important to wear your face covering? You wear a face covering to protect others in case you're infected but don't have symptoms. Keep the covering on your face the entire time you're in public. Don't put the covering around your neck or up on your forehead. Don't touch the face covering, and if you do, clean your hands. It's vital that you wear the face covering correctly by washing your hands before putting on your face covering. Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin. Try to fit it snugly against the sides of your face and make sure you can breathe easily. I have more than one face mask. The one I wear I wash every night. As grown-ups we need to stop following behind the President, its who is not wearing their face mask because when you about to die from COV-19 or just sick from it, Donald J. Trump is not going to be nowhere in sight. You don't live foolishly because someone else you look up to does. Remember there is an important word. You should be focussing on living and staying alive for you and your family. The action word is caution. I am taking caution, not risking to see if this COV-19 is real. Then if you get it it. You telling everyone I should have listened. People stop taking chances with your life babies. Living is very Important. I want you all to listen to these words, proverb 512:15 - "The way of a fool seems right to him". Donald Trump no mask but a wise man listens to advice. Foolish failures think they need no advice. Proverb 21:11 says "When a wise man is instructed, he gets knowledge. It is usually better to learn from the mistakes of others than from our own. We can do this by observing other people's lives and listening to their advice. Take counsel from others instead of plunging ahead an learning the hard way from Cov-19. Remember your life and families are important.

Where is the common sense?

- Large crowds gather the memorial holiday at parties, beaches etc.
- Large crowds gather at Donald Trumps rallies

No common sense. Don't throw away your common sense.

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. I completely agree with everything that you have said about COV-19 - I don't think people are taking it seriously enough, and I worry that all the lifting of restrictions that is taking place at the moment is going to reverse all the hard work we have done thus far. Wearing a face covering is difficult for people (including myself), I think, because it makes the whole thing more real, and it's much more difficult to pretend (as is easier to do) that nothing is happening. But, as you say, it doesn't change the fact that people really have a moral obligation to protect others from harm where possible. In the end, everyone wants this to end sooner.

I look forward to reading your next post.
