psalm 66:10-12 for you, O God tested us
you refined us like silver
you brought us into prison
and laid burdens on our backs
you let men ride over our heads
we went through fire and water
but you brought us into a place of abundance
Just as fire refines silver in the something process, trials refine our character. They bring us a new and deeper wisdom, helping us discern truth from falsehood and giving us the discipline to do what we know is right. Above all, these trials help us realize that life a gift from God to be cherished not a right to be taken for granted. I've known people who refused to grow and kept making promises to God. l am tired and threw with the lifestyle of sin. But then they turn back around doing drugs, drinking, sexual immorality, fornication, adultery relationship, selling drugs, doing everything Gods says put you in lonely place in life. None of these people here today, because they die in their sin. Does it have to be this way? Even though God promises in John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the World, but that the world through him might be saved. People sometimes make bargains with God, saying "If you heal me (or get me but of this mess) I'll obey you for the rest of my life." However, soon after they recover, the vow is forgotten and the old life is resumed. The writer made a promise to God, but he remembered the promise and was prepared to carry it out. God always keeps his promises and was prepared to carry it out. God always keeps his promises and wants us to follow his example. Be careful to follow through on whatever you promise to do. Be Bless and & hope you have the best Days ahead that you have not had in a long time.
