Hi Ms Amnesia! I always appreciate your takes and insights on my posts and on life in general. "Equal misery is also equality, right?" Well... lol. In a manner of speaking, I suppose so. I think I even have an old post here on the subject, back from the George Floyd era, talking about how focussing on "racial" disparities in police abuse is wrongheaded, because surely "equality" of abusiveness isn't a goal anyone really wants to achieve, is it?
Anyway, I love your comment on the unconscionable excuses of punishment is a world where we decry 4-year sentences in a cage "short". We've really lost all sense of proportion and basic human decency.
I sure hope you got my Christmas card by now. Yours arrived the day after, Dec. 26th. So not bad! And thank you very much for your kind words there, and just for thinking of me at all. You're really a great person, and like I said to Alberto from Italy - without people like you, people like us would just be talking to ourselves! I'm grateful for the time and effort you put into reaching back to those of us who reach out. And for helping us reach others.
