A Poem; a drawing

Here's a poem I recently wrote
I hope you enjoy it, and so it goes...

When you and I are far apart
can sorrow break our tender hearts
I love you, yes I do, when I
sleep, I dream of you
All you are is a blooming rose
Night is here, so I must dose
with loving care, read the first word in each line, and
you will find the question on my mind, but
by the time you read it
my eyes will be already closed
side by side, as we doze.

Sweet Dreams!

[The poem is accompanied by a drawing of a broken heart on hire with a notation "You set me on fire"]
