Good day, Nate. :)
Sammi, you live in Australia! Wow! I got your response to a few of my posts and it was good to hear from you again.
I was surprised to read that it's wintertime where you're at :( but as hot as it's been here, it probably wouldn't be bad to have some winter air right about now.
Your distances does make pen-pals difficult, but it would be nice to get a letter or two from you by mail from time to time. They're more personal and you could even send me some photos of you and Australia. :)
Your mother seems like a very wise woman, and it appears that she's extended some priceless wisdom to you. I thank you for sharing it with me, and I will never forget that, "every no brings us closer to a yes." Thanks for that.
It's always a treat to reach to the outside, so this interaction with you is fun and I'm very grateful. Stay cool out there and I hope to hear from you soon.
Respectfully,

Questions:
Have you traveled outside Australia?
What do you enjoy most about where you live?
What do you enjoy least?

I'm yet to travel outside of Australia but it's on my to-do list. I was looking at flights a couple of days ago to Detroit. From here to Detroit is $1500 return. That's one of the annoying things about Australia, we're so far away from Europe/America so I'll need to stop spending and start saving more.
The best thing about where I live - I'm thirty minutes away from some of the best surf beaches in my state and fifteen minutes from the city. I get the best of both worlds.
I think the thing I enjoy the least is the fact that I've lived here for about seven years. I've stopped appreciating what's around because I see it daily.
The weather can be rubbish too. The other morning it was gorgeous, sunny and you didn't need a jacket and by lunch time there was a hail storm.
