John

Merry Christmas, my friend. I'm glad that you enjoyed the poem Unforgiven. I sent it to Eminem several years ago hoping he would turn it into a rap song. I never heard back. Maybe you could download it and send it to Eminem or someone who's extremely controversial.

I hope you have received my letter #4 and I'm not trying to be preachy. I very seldomly give good advice, and that's all I'm doing is trying to be a friend and help you change course before it's too late. 'Cause I don't want to see you land in the EDOC and have to endure this hell. 'Cause all the EDOC will do for you is further f- up your life. I'd like to see you get away from the meds, kick the addiction and do something productive. Look back on life 20, 30, 40 years from now and not be filled with REGRET, SHAME, DISAPPOINTMENT. No - I'd rather you be filled with pride, of accomplishment. You have the whole world at your hands, don't let it slip through your fingers, my brother. Use this life wisely. Which is something that I didn't do. I can want all of this for you, but you really have to want it for yourself in order for you to succeed and bring the positive change that you need. I hope you will take my advice, don't be left with regrets, thinking back on this letter, saying I wish I would have taken Ronnie's advice. Hey - nothing to it but to do it. And remember can't, never could do a damn thing. You can do it, if it's what you want. Please take care of yourself and write soon.

In peace, love + friendship,

Ronnie :)
