A Day of Reading
Well, today I am reading more of George R. R. Martin's "Game of Thrones" series. I am on Book 3 "A Storm of Swords" and I must say this is one of the best series I have ever read aside from Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series, and Isaac Asimov's series.
I really wish I could watch the Game of Thrones show on HBO but of course I don't get HBO. Why? Because the philandering Senator Ensign got a law passed banning pornography in BOP facilities. Imagine my satisfaction when the hypocrite was run out of the senate for having an affair. Imagine that, a bastion of morality succumbing to his base desires. So tragic. Could make a good movie with a little extra to the story added. Now if only Michelle Bachmann could get caught with a male escort (or a female would be even better) I could really laugh at Congress. Right now the institution can only be pitied or loathed.
