The Readers Digest June 2013
"The Most Trusted People in America"
readersdigest.com
The top ten persons on the list are five actors (No. 1: Tom Hanks) and one movie director (Steven Spielberg) whose jobs as actors and director is to create illusions (pretend).
No wonder it's argued that America is on the decline.
But, aha! Despite a total mass media black out on him, America still found illustrious Noom Chomsky at No. 20, linguistic professor at MIT!
There is still hope for America

RE: May 2007 issue, Sister 2 Sister
Please welcome these considered comments from the grass roots.
There were many pregnant words of universal wisdom in the above issue that must be called upon in productive motion to save our African-American community. On page 96, the extraordinary Harold Perrineau commented, "I was a little mad because suddenly they were the same cats who were sticking up people and now they had record deals. So they were talking about it, 'Yeah, I robbed you and sold drugs,' and I was, like, 'You're killing our neighborhood and now you're selling the song, and I am supposed to buy it?'"
Then on page 107, in your last word, the too-gentle critique of so-called Black men in drag. Your heartfelt comment: "But I don't like it when our men make fun of Black women." Why does John Ridley write "The Manifesto of Ascendancy for the Modern American Nigger" essay in Esquire (12/2006)?
Why does Mr. Ward Connely advocate, with some success, an end to affirmative action in education and the elimination of any reference whatsoever to "race" in general?
Why do one million African-American men exist incarcerated in legalized slavery?
Why is AIDS on the highest rise among African-American queens?
Why do so-called "gangsta rappers", gang members, pimps, rapist, robbers and drug dealers make a loud noise degrading African-Americans, selling it almost exclusively to Caucasian males?
While doing her show on the evils of "gangsta rap" Ms. Oprah said, "I need help! I can't do it by myself!" (April 2007)
Ms. Jamie, please help save our African-American community!
"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies but the silence of our friends."
-MLK Jr.
Amen!
