President Barack Obama and race in America, July 21, 2013 NBC Meet the Press.com

Moderator David Gregory had an interesting mix panel with Tavis Smiley PBS.org, Harvard law professor Richard Olgetree, Marc Morial, president, Urban League and Rep. Eudge, president, Congressional Black Caucus.

Naturally, the so-called "talented tenth", Ogletree and Morial had only praise for President Obama but zero for us black folks.

For a brilliant illustrative history of how the establishment appointed Rev. Al Sharpton to replace Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. and to protect their interest go to Tony Brown's journal PBS.org (2001).

These so-called talented tenth only look out for their own, "Our Kind of People", by Lawrence Otis Ghram (copyright 2007). They see every major black crisis (e.g. Trayvon Martin) as opportunities for their "fundraiser" and get out the black vote for the Democratic Party.

So, thank God for Tavis' dedicated selfless love and service to our people a la Dr. MLK, Jr.

This was our introduction to Rep. Eudge. She is fired up and battling for the grass roots. It's love at first sight.

President Obama's defenders has a very bizarre catch-all phrase-shield: "President Obama is not the black president of black people". On its face, it's racist and absurd.

Brother Tavis countered correctly that he had no problem constantly advocating for gay rights.

President Lyndon Baines Johnson (aka LBJ) (D. Texas) at prime cost of losing the south to his Democratic Party: in "Profile in Courage", passed major civil rights legislation, including the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

Moreover, with his March 15, 1963 "We Shall Overcome" speech to the joint house, he made their (black folks) cause, our cause (America's cause)!

Now what are blacks portrayed as when they rightly petition their president - too. When told he is not "...the black president".

The plain truth is any man or woman not comfortable with exercising awesome, mighty power to promote the general welfare of all citizens is unworthy of the presidency.

Many blacks believes Obama is a gift from God.

Tragically, when a black face is put on it - whether "Amos n' Andy"; Jay-Z (gangsta rap) or Tyler Perry ("Madea"), black folks are so brainwashed and enfeebled (a permanent underclass; been down so long, bottom seems like up) they, like sheep - acquiesce.

Therefore Tavis and Rep. Eudge will get little thanks and no "do" (help) from the grassroots.
