PERSECUTIONS WOE

SEALING THE FATE OF AN ENTITY
LOST TO THE POWER OF BEING
NO GOOD END ALONG THE PRIMROSE PATH
A MASON JAR WITH HOLES IN THE LID

PSYCHOBABBLE EQUATES A SENSE OF MORALITY
DUPLICITY SANCTIFIES ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOR
BUILDING DUNGEONS OUT OF MASON JARS
NO GOOD END ALONG THE PRIMROSE PATH

CAPTALIZING OFF THE FEEDING OF SHEEP
BLIND TO THE DEAFNESS OF THEIR CALL
SIGNING THE DEEDS TO THEIR SOUL
TO TRAVEL ALONG THE PRIMROSE PATH

THE WORLD INSIDE A MASON JAR
HOLES POKED INTO THE LID
FILTERING IN THE ESSENCE OF LIFE
NOT FOUND ALONG THE PRIMROSE PATH ...

Hi Milo

I've transcribed your poem. Thank you for your note regarding the first of the posts I transcribed for you. When I first discovered this website it appeared that none of yours had been done, but it turned out that wasn't the case. I'm so glad I was wrong. (While I was reading them, I realised it was just as straightforward to type them up, so in the end I stopped reading and started typing, which I why I didn't know until later that other people were on the case.) I'm going to keep going through your 'back catalogue' until they're all done, anyway.

I'm glad the name Lavender has happy connotations for you - it was chosen with all the connotations of the name in mind.

With kind regards
Lavender
