FROM AN UNCAGED UNIVERSAL MIND

TRAYVON MARTIN'S MURDER AND STAND YOUR GROUND LAW AND WHAT'S TO BE DONE?

Sanford, Florida, on July 13, 2013, the six person jury acquitted Mr. George Zimmerman in Mr. Trayvon Martin's unprovoked murder.

Since then, the Rainbow Peoples' Nationally in our cities, through peaceful protest, are demanding justice for Trayvon, a Black child.

On July 21, 2013, President Barack Obama made some uttering on this hot topic.

This blogger will speak to the 26 states' "Stand Your Ground Law," which are mala en se.

We look to our country's history for an exemplary resolution found in the 1960s. "The Secret History of Guns" (by UCLA Law Professor Adam Winker, Sept 2011, The Atlanta.com), "Principles and Practicalities on Guns" (by Kathleen Parker, columnist), and The Washington Post, January 13, 2013.

In May 1967, The Black Panthers legally, peacefully, and non-violently used non-concealed rifles to make a political point.

Needless to say, the conservatives, including then Governor Ronald Reagan, were suddenly very, very interested in gun control.

This illustration indicates that in each of the 26 "Stand Your Ground Law" states: one hundred upstanding, law abiding, employed, and of "good character" African American men lawfully obtained and publicly displayed their lawful guns.

This creative petition for change in the Stand Your Ground Laws must adhere strictly to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s non-violent principles.

IT IS TIME TO DO
