Black leadership meeting at the White House. Martin Bashir show.
msnbc.com; Mon. July 29, 2013

Washington, D.C., July 29, 2013. The talented Al Sharpton, among them, met with President Barack Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder and others to discuss how to deal with the recent June 2013 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Shelby County, Alabama v. Holder, gutting Section 5 [federal preclearance] of the 1965 Voting Rights Act (VRA).

Their actions must not be misconstrued and advocated as a black civil rights cause.

Knowing since President Lyndon B. Johnson (D, 1963-67), no Democrat can be elected president without the massive black vote. Their meeting's agenda was strictly the real politics of how to continue to harvest that black vote for the Democratic party.

While the black voters will continue to bear no fruit from their black vote and participation in the political process.
