Possibilities

From Real Talk by Barry Williams (author's profile)

Possibilities

A door, no matter what it is made of
a wall, no matter what it confines
and a window, no matter what the view
can diminish the will to be free.

A door opens and closes;
it is not a permanent bar
A wall crumbles with time,
and there are ways around it
A window can be shattered
and the view is in the eyes of the beholder

An open door is a new world
A crumbled wall is deliverance
A shattered window is renewed vision.
