For they would only be in vain
Only tears of joy & happiness
Since now I have no pain
My life was a short but happy one
Filled with blessings and with love
Now my heart has found contentment
As I'm with the Lord above
My family has come to welcome me
And guide my soul to rest
For those of you I've left behind
You shall all be blessed
For the love we've shared is eternal
And remains with each passing day
Know that I am with you always
In a very special way
Though my voice cannot be heard
And my body you will not see
Let your thoughts & conscience guide you
And know it comes from me
Keep me in your hearts and minds
And my memory shall remain
Think of joyous & happy times
And let my love heal your pain
Together we shall be forever
Even though we're now apart
For the many ways our lives have touched
We're in each other's hearts
So please don't cry in sorrow
Let my happiness shine through
For the Lord has brought me home with him
So that one day I may welcome you.
