Monday Oct 14, 2013 7:29am: Got up at 5am. Cleaned up, waiting to see if they call recreation. They probably won't. Bill is spending his last day in this hell hole. He's got 30 plus hours to live. See a small clip on the news this morning. He didn't want to delay it. We had talked about that before, being given last hour stays, stopping and starting the executions. He said if they signed his, he would not allow it to be stopped. Well, I need to write Dad.
2:52pm: I haven't done much of anything. It's been a bad day. I'll be glad when it's over so I can go to sleep. I did do some research on standings on that lawsuit on family and friends challenging the death penalty here in Florida, and there's standings under the Florida Constitution, which gives Florida citizens a little more protection than the US Constitution, so we just need to find an attorney.
6:08pm: Sitting here waiting on showers. Bill has 24 hours to live. Nothing good comes from these killings and justice it is not! For it is mere vengeance.

Oct 15, 2013 Tuesday 6:27am: Execution day. Bill has less than 12 hours to live. I seen some of the coverage on the news this morning. Not only talking about these killings being used as a political tool, but concerns over this new drug that's never been used. I've got a lot to do. I have some work to do for an artist who wants to use my writing in his art, also need to write something for another blog.
9:34am: Sitting here listening to music, waiting to go to the property room. Got put something on the gate for my mom. Wrote up a poem this morning for this artist. Since then I've been walking back and forth thinking about Bill, who's got about 8 1/2 hours to live. Five weeks ago he was next door to me, now he's steps away from the death chamber. Sept 10, I go to the property room, and he gets his warrant signed. This is weighing heavily on my heart. I hope his sister is doing okay.
11:35am: They called recreation, so I need to get ready.
3:55pm: Just got back in from rec. I played basketball, won all the games, had a good rec. Kept thinking about Bill. He's got a little over 2 hours left to live. I was talking with some guys out there about it. Got to always remember we're all here to die. Well, I've got to bath and wash clothes.
6:07pm: Bill is moments away from death. It's been all over the news. I'm fixing to write a piece for MB6, and then lay down. I'm in a lot of pain, knees, hips.

Wednesday October 16, 2013 7:03am: Just been sitting here thinking. They killed Bill on the news. They said he admitted to the crime. That was a beautiful 21 year old girl he killed. Made me think of Tracy, and had he killed and raped Tracy, there's no one who could have stopped me from killing him for it. Difference between me and the state, is the state is supposed to be civilized, governed by the constitution. My idiotic rage, vengeance would be uncivilized. Damn the Constitution!! That's the difference. I knew Bill, not the crime. I like the guy who I got to know over the past year. I did not like the cold blooded heartless crime of killing and raping that beautiful young girl. Well, I've got to see the doctor later today. Need to work out and write a letter. Right now I'm going to walk and listen to music.
9:54am: Seen the doctor, said all my blood work is great. Gave me Tylenol for the knee pains. Medical sucks, so can't expect any more than that.
11:19am: They just called recreation. So going out again today. I got to stay off the basketball court.
1:34pm: No rec today, some officer messed up the count, now it's recount!
2:40pm: Well, they did master count. They should find out who messed it up and penalize them. That would stop this from happening.

Thursday Oct 17, 2013 10:35am: Just come back from medical. I went outside, played some basketball. Came down on someone's foot, my ankle went sideways and they had to take me up to Medical. Tomorrow I go back up there for X-rays. This all happened around 9am. The guys are still on the rec yard, should be coming back in any moment. Not sure what I'm going to do. I'm in so much pain.
3:39pm: Just laying here hurting, but I don't think it's broke. I have washed clothes, I still have to bath, which I'll do after I eat. I heard there was 12 clemency hearings today. Which means that's 12 more guys that Governor Scott will kill next year, using those 12 lives as political stepping stones to get re-elected. He's dirty!
5:01pm: Fixing to bath, and call it a day. My foot is hurting like hell. I need to give up on playing basketball.
