Let All Good Protect Miley Cyrus!
Hi Appletree:
Thanks for writing!
Update:
I don't listen to music with explicit lyrics advocating unkind sex, non RX drugs, or any form of violence!
My love goes to John Lennon, Joan Baez, Bob Marley, Nino Simone, Bob Dylan, Odetta, Bruce "The Boss" Springteen, Alicia Keyes, and Curtis Mayfield—to name just a few! Inspirational, aspirational, and move (make a difference!) tone which heals the universal "nation" jangling discords!
Ms. Miley's The Climb is so reminiscent of Mayfield's '60s classic of Keep on Pushin', which both are part of my daily meditations.
Her new Wrecking Ball is soulful/painful, also seen on AMA_Sun.abc.com, November 24, 2013.
Thank God for new superstars like English (British) Jessie J, Ain't About the Price Tag (c. 2011) and Lorde (aka Ella Yelich O'Connor), 16, New Zealand, hit song Royals (mocking gangster rap). Rolling Stones October 24, 2013, Rs. 1194, rollingstone.com, p.30 "Lorde's Teenage Dream" by Jonan Weinner rs 1195, November 7, 2013, rollingstone.com, p. 44
But all and all, you and I both agree Ms. Miley is someone's child too, worthy of human dignity and respect!
