Song And Dance

Song & Dance

Maybe, I could dance with the conversation,
Giving your face, body, and nature are rhythm-and-blues-noting harmony.
Articulate in its melodiousness—not many!
Or none— do you as you do you, all situations—

You make love to letters bestowing lucid kisses of ink
Compelling verse upon verse— I'm so light-footed
I kiss your flower, this poem in prayer it's not uprooted!
Poem or poetry or song— I flirt their ardent wink

Lyrical, contemporary, urban, or universal this dance
An alchemist expression hospitable in its social
Indifferent to a paradox of ebony or ivory— I'd aerial the vocals
Warming notes, jus' maybe you'd fancy—
