November 14th 2014 "Solitary Confinement"

The goal of destroying the human mind, no books, no magazines, no newspapers, nothing to occupy the human mind. Welcome to my world, the world of D.C. solitary confinement where the goal is to mentally destroy human beings!

Study upon study has proven that solitary confinement is detrimental to the human mind.

I'm one of five inmates sitting here in a cage on Disciplinary/solitary confinement. I'm the only one capable of speaking out. Two are so mentally disturbed that the voices in their heads that they speak with daily is the only comfort they will ever find. The other two are paranoid and delusional. They function but an intelligent conversation is up and down depending upon the mind and its mysterious process.

I do know this. The Florida Legislature, its lawmakers and those who wrote and constructed Fla. statue 944.09 and Florida Administrative codes did not foresee what is taking place here on P-4-Left, the Disciplinary Confinement unit wing and cells for P-Dorm.

What we have is a clear abuse of power, abuse of the law, and abuse of human lives, mental and physical well beings, of men being selflessly tossed out, like morning garbage. Mentally ill men being stored in D.C. solitary confinement "isolation cells" because it is ore convenient o write a Disciplinary Report, known as a DR, throw the mentally ill inmate into an isolation/deprivation cage, and wash your hands of the responsibility of CARE, custody and control. Damn the law, damn the Legislature, damn Fla. Admin. codes. This is the Florida Dept. of Corruption and if they want to abuse the mentally-ill, well damn it, it's their God given right to mentally destroy human beings!! Whose going to stop them? You? See that's my goal, to expose this to you, hoping you will take a stand, contact the Legislature, House Reps, Governor, Secretary and call for change. Stop this illegal abuse.

33-601.308(4)(4) last line: "Disciplinary Confinement shall be utilised only as a last resort". Not a first resort, but a last1 D.C. is not a place to store mentally ill inmates! And 33-602.222(8)(a) further supports that. But who enforces these rules, the Warden, she's the violator. Regional Director doesn't seem to care. Secretary Crews, he's playing politics. WHat does he care about a mentally-ill inmate suffering in isolation? He has inmates being murdered by Correctional Officers. Much bigger fish to fry. Who's left, the Inspector General? No, their hands are dirty. They've been busy trying to cover up the investigation of the murdered inmates. So who's left? You are. It is your responsibility, as a human being, to write the Florida Legislature and House of Representatives, and file a complaint. Call for this abuse to be stopped. Cause if not you, then who? Please take the necessary steps to stop this human tragedy of warehousing mentally-ill inmates in D.C., solitary confinement cells.
