REMEMBERING MOMS ON MOTHERS DAY

I'm a bit early but Mothers Day is soon approaching & I have quite a few Mothers Day cards to send out. I try to remember every mother in my life, not just my own. There are quite a few and each is special to me in their own way but no one is like my mom. I remember singing this song with her in her car as we would take long drives. She always had her big box of tapes. Journey, Genesis,Pink Floyd, were 3 of my favorites. My mom just finished another round of chemo. She went home yesterday. I am terrified that one day I'll be told your mom's gone. I've only lasted this long in here because of her. She is such a strong woman. She beat hepatitis C, she beat 1 form of leukemia, and now I am praying she can beat the 2nd leukemia. All I do is worry, pray, and stress. I've had a few times when I'd forget to eat because I just worry so much about my mom. You only get one. I have a great mom. Through all of my mistakes, she was always there for me. I'm far from the best son but I'd give my life for my mom. I'd give her all my years I got left. I feel so helpless, so powerless, all I want to do is help her, make her proud of me, make her laugh & smlile. My mom can't read this because she has seizures & the computer screen does something that can cause seizures but I want to wish my mom a very happy Mothers Day. Thank you always for being the best mom I could have ever asked for. To my step mom Sandy, my 3 sisters Dawn, Jenn & Ann, my amazing aunts Cindy & Diane, my sister in law Rachel (baby Lucy's mom), my friends Barbara, and my amazing friend in Italy Christine, I wish all of you's a wonderful Mothers Day. I love each & every one of you's & I thank God for bringing you's into my life.
But not just my loved ones, I want to wish every mother out there a happy Mothers Day. A mother is the most amazing gift anyone can have. They love you no matter what, they are always there for you, and recently on the news, a mom who couldn't swim jumped in a lake to save her drowning son, he lived, she died. She gave her life to save her child's. Now that is truly amazing, such a selfless act, an act of love. So sad though.
To all moms out there, on May 10th, may you be pampered, loved, respected & cherished on your special day and each day forward. Take care, enjoy your family, God bless. Ciao.
