Hi Rita,

Thank you for answering my blog and being my pen pal. You're the first since I started my blog on Sept, 23, 2011. Guess a lot of people don't like to write to prisoners.

I don't hear from my kids because I was a lousy father. Most of my life, alcohol was my drug, which ruined my whole life, the reason for my divorces, my times in prison and the loss of my children. Also, some trauma that happened to me when I was young helped ruin my life. I can't change any of my past, though I wish I could, but all I can do is make myself better, which I'm trying my best.

I know I did a lot of bad things in the past, but this time I'm innocent and DNA cleared me on the two main charges and not sure on the other, but still sent to jail. Not only was I sent to jail for something I didn't do, I was also illegally sentenced to life. I'm not giving up, I'm gonna fight to the end. The New York State Criminal Justice system is the worst in the United States.

Are you still in the United states? I'm glad you're still friends with your ex, it's not good to have enemies in anyway.

Write again soon. Bright blessings,
Henry

Hey Henry, I'm the one who wrote the transcription. I just wanted to say that I think it's very admirable how hard you are trying to be better, it's never easy to admit past mistakes and to try to better yourself can be even harder. Good luck with it all,
Rea
