Thursday

Come back in from recreation. I had a good workout. I'm going out to see Father Conrad at 1 or 2 PM. I've already washed clothes. I need to bath. Got in a lot of birthday cards last night, but mail came really late! I'll respond to them. I don't pay attention to my birthday. I don't even tell anyone it's my birthday, so it'll pass by without anyone knowing. Knee is sore from running in that small cage. When I come back, I'll do some more exercising and writing.

The Bureau Chief of Education denied me on this GED. I'm not done. I'm going to push, just don't know how far. Maybe a hunger strike. Try to bring attention to the FDOCs denial or educational programs, a clear, productive measure that allows inmates to feel better about themselves, while accomplishing something and taking themselves in more productive and positive direction. That's the problem with the FDOC. They're 50 years behind time. It's time for change. And I'm going to continue to fight for positive change.

Well, I'm ready for bed. I was doing some reading. I have a lot of work to do tomorrow.
