Steve, I love you. Happy birthday, 7/5/12. We must cherish every moment of every day; cherish our friends, cherish our family, cherish everyone that we spend with our love, for one day they'll be gone, and it's the little moments that'll come back to us. Mom, James, Aunt Alice, Tim, Allen, Daddy Steve: you were ever so handsome, Son. Miss you.

A person should never regret taking a map or leaving large tips. The power of saying I can is mentally encouraging.

My silly sister Cella got married. I didn't receive the invite—the mail is bad here. ;) Love you, sis.

I've learned some things about myself in the last few months. Some of them I wanted to know; some of them I didn't want to know; all of them I needed to know.

I dream of walking in the forests, strolling along the sandy beaches, sipping water from a cold mountain stream, kneeling at the top of the world, and thanking God for the things, the people I've had in my life.

The criminal justice system is not as many people claim broken. It's more like a well-oiled, money-eating machine that keeps millions of individuals out of the economic mainstream. 9 out of 10 employers run criminal checks on candidates to screen out felony. 4 out of 5 landlords run checks to keep them out and then are surprised when they end up back in prison. The power of the mind is comaging. Depression is a great motivation for everyone. :) I am now going to try harder at being a human being.

You can use white wine to remove a red wine stain. That's why I always have two glasses of wine. :) In case there's a spill. :)
