My name is James Freer, a 60 year old male. An inmate at Waupun Correctional Institution (PO Box 351; Waupun, Wisconsin; 53963-0351).

On the morning of 10-31-16, I was physically abused by a nurse at Waupun Memorial Hospital (Angensian Healthcare; 620 W Brown St.; Waupun, WI; 53963). This is a case of elder abuse and I need the public's help to stop her from hurting others.

I was in the prep room preparing for exploratory surgery. 2 nurses came in the room, one pleasant (demeanor), the other more or less so. I pleasant one had a computer on wheels. As the pleasant nurse jovially spoke to me. Virtually instantly, the first nurse inserted the I.V. into my wrist, plunged the needle deep into my vein and out again! I screamed, "Stop!", as the pain overwhelmed me. Again, the pain caused me to yell her to stop! Again, the nurse plunged the needle deeper into my wrist. As blood poured down my wrist, the nurse squeezed the needly violently into my wrist once again. I cried out repeatedly for her to stop; she ignored me and just smiled. Finally, she positioned the IV correctly and taped it. Wiped the blood off her fingers (she wore no gloves!) and my bleeding bloody wrist and said, "Aren't you the nervous Nelly, aren'tcha?" As she smiled and left the room.

This was all recorded on surveillance cameras. All recorded on tape, CD, etc.

I need the public's help to stop her from abusing others! Please contact the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. The National Center on Elder Abuse, the National Legal Aid and Defender.
