In a house by the sea

by Sarah Luedecke (author's profile)

Transcription

In a house by the sea
she looks for me
it's never me
who she seems to see
I choose her from
an ocean of time
since past
but she holds against me
the sins of my past
I walk alone
as I wait there
waiting from dawn
to dusk in tears
Hope is fading
and still I hold on
because she is the one
I choose.

Still she doubts
and shuts me out
stays away
and can't bear to stay
with me again
because she'd rather
chose them
In a house by the sea
there I look for her
she never tried
and do I know
yes, I know
what she will do.

I don't doubt as I
am prone to do
and still here I am
waiting for who
in a house by the sea
all my hopes and dreams
float on the water
on the blossoms of
the higan cherry tree
