Hey Jamie,

Well, it's Christmas morning and the only way you can tell in here is by looking up above my clothes hooks where you'll see two pictures of a full-size Christmas tree in somebody's living room decorated with nothing but Mountain Dew cans and lights with a two-liter bottle on top, one lit up, the other not. My brother knows how much I love Mountain Dew so he printed them off the Internet and mailed them to me a few years ago. They always add a little bit of spunk each year, and I've always been able to snatch them down before an officer sees them.

I was glad to see that you enjoyed my last essay. By the way, I didn't really remember that definition of time from my kindergarten teacher. It was actually the definition given in my old dictionary. I've never come across a better explanation so I memorized it.

Of the seven different examples, the only ones that actually apply to me are: #1, #2, #6, and #7. Then there is of course the first example of the guy who was 32 when he came to prison, had been down for 15 years, and felt like he was still only 33. That, naturally, all applied to me.

Since my last message, I guess the most significant thing that has occurred is that I got a new bunkie. Quite a bit different from my last one who was what you would consider a top-notch individual. However, I still think we'll do okay. Remember, I'm a real easygoing guy. This guy happens to be a vegan and I received your message in the mail the day he moved in (12-19-16). I made a brief comment regarding the subject (no, not the joke) and he was wondering something due to the diet plan here. Are there restrictions of the type of bread a vegan can eat?

Back a while ago, we were discussing about driver's licenses and what not. Well, I was flipping through a magazine and came across some scary facts in regards to not young drivers but rather old ones. Ready? As of 2012, Florida has 65,000 licensed drivers between 91 and 100, and an additional 455 that are over 100 years old. Wow! I guess the risks can come from both sides of the age limits. The magazine I read this in had a note that their information was coming from a book entitled "Oh Florida! How America's Weirdest State Influences The Rest of the Country" (from St. Martin's Press). That sounds like a book I would like to get. However, I need an address, a price, and the number of pages to see if it's worth purchasing to begin with. Could you possibly check on Amazon.com and find that information out please? :)

Yes, I did get my MP3 back and everything works great. So now i can drown out all the senseless noise in here.

After glancing at the beginning of your letter, I noticed you were on one of the pages of my essay "What's In A Name?" and a certain question came to my mind. In your communicating with people from the U.S. on the Internet, do you often have individuals mistake your gender? The reason I ask is because the name Jamie is used for both sexes at about 50-50 around here in America. How about there in Switzerland?

Well, I guess Trump had a few more followers in just the right places. So much for the idea of him being there so people would vote for Hilary. After he won, I had to start reading the newspapers every day to find out what happened. It's all quite interesting and he has chilled out quite a bit. So we'll see.

I got another visit from my brother on 12-17-16. To answer your question, visit time basically consists of talking and eating. There are board games and other toys if children are part of the crowd. You can either talk inside, where you AC/heat, chairs and tables, and a lot of congested noise. Or you can go outside in a fenced area with a big gazebo with picnic tables, along with an open area of grass to walk around. You can buy all kinds of microwavable meals from a snack bar or go to the vending machines to get other snacks and drinks. It's a great time to enjoy things that they don't sell in the canteen in the camp, like popcorn and Mountain Dew. Oh, and it's also a good opportunity to spend some time with friends and family.

Well, I guess I'll close here. Hope to hear back from you soon, and I hope you had a very Merry Christmas too.
