My Dearest Love:
My love, I am deeply sadden, heartbroken about Carol's passing. I can find no words to say.
The days here are getting longer. Daylight is starting to break at 5 o'clock and the sun is shining until 9 PM. :) We've had two 100+ degree days this week (a sign of the summer to come). Of course, I didn't get out in it. We're on lockdown right now. :) So I lay on my bunk and let the fan blow over me. Read a little, write a little, even paint a little. :)❤ Watch old movies on TV and daydream mostly of you. You and I are co-stars in every movie I've ever seen. ❤ And you, my love, I always get the girl. ❤ Or you can look at it this way, "You always got your man."❤
I was walking down the street one day around 10 AM and you were walking my way. Now I could have turned and walked away, but like the fool you know I am, I chose to stay and play. You captured my heart on a summer day and hold it still, I do say.
I got the form to fill out for Pier 5's Fall/Winter art show so I will get started on that. I find I paint more/faster when I've got a reason or deadline. Also got another letter from [Chuck?} about hanging some painting in their art gallery. Still trying to get my stuff back form the prison art place. :)
I told you I still get lost and ramble on. Know, my love, that the one thing that keeps me going is your love and the dream of sailing in the clouds with you in my arms.
