Megan,
It was good to see that my writing touched you. That is the clear point of why I write. To express my feelings and hope that I can touch someone else with my words. I started writing when I was younger to release the pain of being abused and neglected. It's a way I free myself from reality. I had wrote Blinded for one of my younger sisters who was caught between a rock and a hard place.
So if you ever wanna write me directly to vent or just share things with, then that'll be nice. One really can't have too many friends.

When you read this, be aware that I've posted new works of art, so please check out the new poetry I'm putting on the blog. Also, I do appreciate that you believe I'm special. Because there are a lotta brothers behind these walls who are talented but were given a raw deal at life. But at the same time, it's up to them to grow and utilize every chance and opportunity that's offered.
I've received two college degrees in prison and have written eight books. So I believe the time is what you make of it. So it takes a special person to see a special person.
