Hours to Live

Michael Lambrix has approximately 13 hours to live unless my prayers are answered and he gets a stay. Mike's family has 13 hours of stress, pain, and suffering, and then a lifetime of pain. 'Cause no doubt, they will relive this day forever. The day their loved one was murdered by the state of Florida. The day that they counted down the last hours, minutes, and seconds of Mike's life.

Yes, Mike will lay on that gurney, the curtain will be pulled back, as men and women's faces, strangers, look at him as he's helplessly strapped there, IV needle hanging out of his arm, the crowd looking on, most with disinterest, some with hatred in their hearts, there, to watch him die. Watch him gasp for air. Turning his death into a circus. And the worst part about this is we, as a civilized society, sees nothing wrong with it.

"Civility", where's it at!? Well, it's lost to vengeance and insanity! Civility is twisted up in the mantle of justice, under the fraudulent concept of justice. For there's no justice in murdering our citizens.

Word is Mike got a temporary stay. The feeling around here is it'll be lifted. Mike's family has some hope. I'm sure his mom, dad, sisters, and friends feel some relief. But they are probably still very anxious, knowing it may get lifted at any moment. Can you imagine going through that? Yeah, that's the torture that this so-called civilized, holier-than-thou American justice system puts out family through. You only qualify, if you're poor. Yes, only the poor become America's trash.

Oct. 6, Friday morning
Woke up to find that the United States Supreme Court found it was okay to murder Mike under Florida's death penalty statute that was found to be unconstitutional. God knows they wouldn't have murdered a rich man under a statute that was constitutional, much less unconstitutional!

I feel so bad for Mike's mom and dad. I'm sure they had a long, hard night and are waking up this morning brokenhearted. Yes, they struggled with this day for years. Now Mike's struggles are over, and their pain and suffering will continue on. Mr. and Mrs. Lambrix, you're in my thoughts and prayers. My heart is heavy this morning with their grief. God bless you all.
