Peace

PEACE

Can we find peace
through the death of another?
Can we find peace
through homicide?
Peace in killing—
our fellow man!
Peace cannot come
through the murder of another!
Peace cannot be found
through violence, death, and destruction!
A mind that tells you
that killing brings peace
is a mind that's twisted
with vengeance and hate.
Yet you try to find peace,
tranquility, and closure
through executing your fellow man.
Yes—you chase peace
through this death and destruction.
Yet all I see...
is madness in your peace.
