Seeking A Haven
I've searched far
I've searched near
And am yet to be blessed
To find someone to enjoy my sentiments
And to share my world
I dream but am steadily in seek!
I've composed pleas with class
petitions and poetry
Yet am yet to know the loyalty of a dove!
I'm an avid hunter
Hunter who has tasted honey
Yet in need of heaven and a haven.
The hurting of thy heart
will only subside when placed
in heaven's hands to enjoy
a loving massage.
Prayers pit me on my knees
Lord, the promises I pose are honest.
The hurting I ache is severe.
I've searched far
I've searched near
So rid my hunting and hurting
and provide me a haven
who's lovely and loyal.
One who'd contribute to the
classy molding of a man
Her praises
I'm not too much of a man to sing
Thy love for thee
would abound
