Dear Viewers,
Hello there, I welcome you to my life behind bars. These ten years have been nothing but pain and sorrow. But I'm at the end of my ride.

Prison is a big cold world. It makes you feel like you're in hell. Your own family and friends leave you for dead. There's no one to share your hope and dreams. No one there when things get rough. You're all alone when the going gets tough. No one there to say "I care" or "Let's share." With only yourself to share the nights and days, by yourself at each and every lonely hour. When you close your eyes to doze, you think life as it goes. How cruel it is for us only.

For those of us who are lonely, prison can draw you in and make you very evil. And prison can make you grow into a man in a day. Either you fight or fall weak to the predators that lay in wait.

Prison has taught me a lot of good and bad, but I've used this time to correct my wrongs and not let myself fall weak to the game. You see, there's times that are harder than others, but I let my release to give me hope to not get caught up in the hype. I'm so ready to get away from this life and file this as a lesson learned, and try my hardest not to repeat those mistakes.

Well, I hope to hear from any of you who may have some advice to help me better my life back into society. Either leave a comment or write to the address below. Thank you all for your support.

Sincerely,
Robert

Choices - to do something that's easier than something else that might be better or harder - they're so challenging. I try to remember that the pain and fear I might have making the harder choice now is nothing compared to the emptiness I'll feel when I make the easier but worse choice later. I don't know if that's helpful at all. Sometimes I'll also ask myself: is this the me I want to build? Is this building my spirit? Best of luck Robert.
