I listen to NPR to hear how it's really, really getting hot there. By those fires? Here, it's 47 last night. Cold.

I'm up in the pan handle now. I left my last unit Wednesday the 15th. We first stopped at the Darrington Unit. Then we slept over at the Walls Unit. But it was at 1 AM that they pulled chain to come here. I asked the driver is this my final destination unit. He said yes?

Today is the 20th... MLK Day. I got my property I brought with me, but I don't have stamps. I've got to see when I go to the store. Anytime you feel the need to send me money, do it. I'll always use it for stamps.

I missed our letters too. Even to what we spoke of in them, like you making love. I know it's not the right time, with what has been going on with the fires and what. But we will have to get a phone company too. See, they don't allow us to call overseas. But they have it where it we can have a number set up. Sure, a fee and charge. Unless you know someone in the United States who can set up and line a call for us?

What do you do with these Siamese. Do you show them? Or sell them?

I used to call Linda and David, but when I was transferred to McConnell, David started acting weird. So, then I don't even write to them. They didn't even wish me a Christmas or 2020 New Year.

So, don't even bother with them.

I don't even care to tell them I was moved. It's crazy, but it's again something in my life that's changed. Maybe for the best reasons.

But I am very excited having you in my life, baby. So, tell me how is Melissa? Is she still living with you there? I want you to be careful driving, especially if there is fire on the roads. Okay, I know it's bad. Especially breathing the smoke too. So, I ask be careful. I always say a blanket of stars... cover you. But we will substitute cool water covers you.
